The Berlin Cathedral (German: Berliner Dom), with a history dating back to the 15th century, began as a Roman Catholic place of worship. It is also called the Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church. Situated on Museum Island in central Berlin, it serves as a significant Protestant church and the dynastic tomb (House of Hohenzollern).
The cathedral’s origins trace back to a chapel in the Berlin Palace, with several buildings serving as the church site since the 15th century.
