MOC-130285 Hesketh 308B - scale 1:8
Designed by RoscoPC, this MOC 308B prototype is a detailed restoration of a racing car used in the 1975 World Championship. Featuring functional suspension, a working steering wheel, a realistic V8 engine restoration, and stabilizer bars, this model captures the essence of high-performance racing engineering.
Background: This race car is equipped with a Cosworth DFV V8 engine, and James Hunt won his first World Championship Grand Prix at the 1975 Zandvoort Dutch Grand Prix. He ended the season with several consistent results, helping Hesketh secure fourth place in the Constructors' Championship. However, due to Lord Hesketh's inability to continue funding the sponsorless team, the team was disbanded at the end of the season, and Hunt joined McLaren in 1976.
