Build difficulty; Advanced - 🛰️Background Introduction: The Raider-class Corvette, originally designed by the Republic Sienar Systems during the Old Republic era, was intended for Republic use. However, opposition from bureaucratic officials led to its abandonment, including its design. The Corporate Sector Authority (CSA) intervened and acquired the ship. When production of the Corvette resumed on Lianna, several organizations and planetary fleets began purchasing the Corvette. The CSA's ambitions for expanding its military capabilities resulted in double the number of orders, making the Raider-class Corvette one of the most successful ships in the Republic Sienar Systems. The CSA refers to the Raider-class Corvette as an "escort ship" due to its effectiveness against pirates and poorly equipped vessels. It is capable of carrying CSA's IRD fighters for patrol missions and two landing craft for ground operations. The tractor beam is used to capture enemy vessels. The Raider-class Corvette also serves as a supporting vessel alongside the Victory-class Star Destroyer and Invincible-class Heavy Cruiser. Its most important function is patrolling CSA territories and preventing unauthorized ships from entering.
