MOC-175055 Great crested grebe and chick Building Blocks

The MOC-175055 Great Crested Grebe & Chick is an original design by SKABRAM, featuring a perfect reproduction of the bird and its chick.

SKABRAM does really love these birds, so when he came around the claw piece he instantly thought about the crested feathers on the head of this bird. When the grebe was finished he challenged myself to come up with a chick that is striped like a zebra around the neck. It was not easy to achieve this, but he is pretty pleased how it came out eventually.
