Designed and licensed by tralux21, Prager Strasse is the main shopping street in Dresden, starting from the plaza in front of Dresden Train Station in the south and extending to the Old Market in the north. Prager Strasse was built from 1851 to 1853, connecting the old town with the Bohemian station. This wealthy area has attracted bankers and lawyers. Numerous shops and entertainment venues were established, making it one of Dresden's most prestigious streets. In 1890, a new Dresden Central Station was built at the location of the Bohemian station.
