Designed and authorized by LegoMocLoc. The Water-Warder is a terrifying and mysterious creature with many tentacles, dwelling in a stagnant pool or lake near the West Gate of Moria. J.R.R. Tolkien described it as “...a dark and still lake,” dammed by the river Celanorn. The water level gradually deepened, steadily encroaching upon Durin's Gate until only a narrow passage remained. For many years before the Second Age, this had been the great road connecting Ostin Eidhel and Khazad-dûm. Some say it was this creature that built the dam over decades. This model depicts the scene from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring where the Fellowship arrives at Durin's Gate.
