The prototype is: Horten Ho 229, Horton H. Ix, Named the HO 229 by Imperial Aviation (commonly known as the Gotha GO 229 to be identified by the aircraft's manufacturer), it was a World War II warfighter prototype designed by brothers Gbr. Reimar & Walter Horten and manufactured by Gotha. It was the first flying wing aircraft to be propelled by a jet engine. And includes technology that can evade radar detection. It is the first aircraft to have similar stealth technology, but its stealth capability is a coincidence of the shape of its wings rather than design. The aircraft was a favourite of German Air Force Marshal Hermann Goering, and it was the only aircraft capable of meeting his 3 x 1000 performance requirements, that is, flying to destinations 1000 km away at 1000 km/h, carrying 1000 kg of bombs. It can reach an estimated speed of 1,024 km/h (636 MPH) and climb to an altitude of 15,000 m (49,213 ft).
