Detail: The temple boasts a small statue of Diana inside the whole, and the exterior is accumulated with various bricks. The exterior has two sacred beasts that guard the temple. The temple is surrounded by different green plants, from the bottom of the mountain up the stairs step by step towards the temple process as if through time and space to witness the former glory of the temple.

Background: The Temple of Artemis or Artemis, also less accurately known as the Temple of Diana, is a Greek temple dedicated to the ancient local goddess Artemis. It was located in Ephesus. It was completely rebuilt twice, once after a devastating flood and again three hundred years later after an arson attack, and in its final form became one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. By 401 A.D. it had been destroyed or vandalised. Only the foundations and fragments of the last temple remain on the site.
