Recreate two memorable spacecraft from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace with the MOC-65797 Naboo Royal Starship & Sith Infiltrator Building Blocks Set. Designed by ron_mcphatty and officially authorized for sale by LesDiy, this 393-piece micro-scale set includes both the elegant J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starship and Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator, the Scimitar.

Both spacecraft are designed at approximately 1:250 scale, allowing them to fit naturally alongside other micro-scale starships from the designer’s collection. Despite their compact dimensions, each model retains the distinctive proportions, color layout, and structural characteristics that make the original ships immediately recognizable.

The Naboo Royal Starship is the larger centerpiece at approximately 32.1 cm / 12.6 in long, while the Sith Infiltrator measures approximately 10.9 cm / 4.3 in long, creating a compact two-ship Episode I display.

393-PIECE TWO-STARSHIP COLLECTION
Build two very different spacecraft from The Phantom Menace in one coordinated micro-scale set: the elegant Naboo Royal Starship and Darth Maul’s darker Sith Infiltrator.

DESIGNED BY RON_MCPHATTY
Designed by ron_mcphatty and officially authorized for sale by LesDiy, with an emphasis on maintaining recognizable proportions and details at approximately 1:250 scale.

J-TYPE 327 NUBIAN ROYAL STARSHIP
The larger model recreates the famous royal spacecraft of Naboo with its exceptionally long nose, broad rear body, smooth profile, and distinctive streamlined silhouette.

The real in-universe vessel is approximately 75 meters long, making this one of the largest spacecraft the designer has attempted within his micro-scale collection.

32.1 CM LONG MICRO-SCALE MODEL
Although built at a reduced scale, the Royal Starship reaches approximately 32.1 cm / 12.6 in long, giving it surprisingly strong display presence.

The designer’s original inventory lists approximately 298 pieces for the Royal Starship itself.

COMPACT INTERIOR
Because of the Royal Starship’s very flat and narrow fuselage, creating an interior at this scale presented a significant design challenge.

Much of the internal space is arranged around a 2-stud-wide corridor, opening into a slightly wider section toward the rear.

MICRO CHARACTER DETAILS
Several small character-style elements are positioned inside the Royal Starship. They are not intended to be perfectly to scale, but help give the otherwise narrow interior more visual interest.

LIGHT GRAY DISPLAY COLOR
Although some early renders show the Naboo Royal Starship with a metallic silver appearance, the designer’s physically built version uses light gray, which is the practical color direction represented by the build.

DARTH MAUL’S SITH INFILTRATOR
The second spacecraft recreates Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator, the Scimitar, with its compact body, dark color scheme, forward wings, and distinctive rounded central section.

The designer’s original inventory lists approximately 64 pieces for the Sith Infiltrator.

10.9 CM COMPACT SCIMITAR
At approximately 10.9 cm / 4.3 in long, the Sith Infiltrator is considerably smaller than the Royal Starship, yet retains the recognizable silhouette and hull pattern associated with Darth Maul’s vessel.

REVERSED-STUD BUILDING TECHNIQUES
One of the design challenges of the Scimitar was recreating the downward-facing lower section of its rounded central body. The model uses reversed building directions to achieve this shape within a very small footprint.

SCREEN-INSPIRED HULL PATTERNS
Subtle color patterns across the Sith Infiltrator’s hull reference markings that are difficult to see clearly on screen but appear more prominently in reference models and merchandise.

UPDATED FRONT LANDING GEAR
The Version 1.1 update improves the Royal Starship’s front landing gear so it can retract slightly farther into the hull, helping correct the slight nose-up stance of the earlier version.

The update uses a small number of additional hidden structural elements, whose colors do not affect the finished appearance.

APPROXIMATELY 1:250 SCALE
ron_mcphatty designs his micro Star Wars spacecraft as close to 1:250 scale as practical, allowing this pair to integrate naturally with other ships from his wider micro collection.

EPISODE I DISPLAY PAIR
Together, the two ships represent contrasting sides of The Phantom Menace: the polished elegance of the Naboo Royal Starship and the darker, aggressive character of Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator.

From the Designer

ron_mcphatty created MOC-65797 as part of his wider micro-scale Star Wars collection.

The J-type 327 Nubian Royal Starship became one of his largest micro-scale spacecraft projects. Its long, flat fuselage made incorporating an interior particularly challenging, leading to the narrow corridor layout and compact rear cabin.

The Sith Infiltrator presented an entirely different challenge. Reversing the building direction around the lower portion of its rounded central body allowed the designer to reproduce the Scimitar’s unusual shape at a very small scale.

Best For

Star Wars fans, The Phantom Menace collectors, Naboo enthusiasts, Darth Maul fans, micro-scale spacecraft collectors, sci-fi display builders, and collectors building a coordinated 1:250-scale starship fleet.

Important Note

This is a fan-designed MOC by ron_mcphatty and is officially authorized for sale by LesDiy. It is not an official Star Wars, Lucasfilm, or Disney licensed product.
