- 👷The Author's Description: "This is an accurate 1.21 scale model that I have built over a period of time by referencing dimensional data for European Truck Transporters. There are numerous manufacturers such as the ‘FVG Truckliner’ and the ‘Maxilohr 2.0’ . But essentially, they are all the same concept, which is a stretched truck unit in 4x2 or 6x2 configuration with a 3-axle extendable draw bar trailer.
Due to height restrictions, they have an ultralow chassis. This has been the main challenge with this model. Maintaining rigid strength within a max chassis height of 7.5stud and incorporating all the moving decks with 7 linear actuators has been a task. All Functions are manual, but I honestly don’t see this as an issue as all adjustments needed to load the trucks are minor to achieve various configurations. The model is strong, robustly built and fully functional.
I have equipped the transporter with a selection of repositionable wheel stops and an axle raiser for trucks with low body trim and bumpers. These are highlighted with orange pins to show they are movable. The same colour scheme is used around the draw bar section to hight the truck hitch and length adjustment. - 👷Since our MOC sets are brand new, it requires 15 days handling time from order to shipment, then shipping takes about another 15 days.
