- 🏰Detail: The product is based on a restoration of the Château de Chenonceau. The overall colour scheme is grey and white, a perfect reproduction of the building itself. Underneath the product is a river reflecting the building, which looks like a real river.
- 🏰Background: Located south of Amboise, the Château de Chenonceau straddles the river Cher in a terrain that forms a very natural and harmonious landscape with the river, the gardens and the green trees. Chenonceau Castle is built on two stone piers of an old mill on the bed of the Cher river. The castle had been part of the royal domain since 1535, and on 1 November 1589, the Dowager Empress Catherine died after a long illness. She bequeathed her estate of up to 400,000 écus to her maids, and the castle was eventually baptized by the battles of the Revolution, with its curiosities and treasures on the black market.
