Recreate a distinctive chapter of Canadian military aviation with the MOC-249633 CH-118 Iroquois Building Blocks Set. Designed and authorized by BespokeLegoDesigns, this 1,279-piece model is based on the CH-118 Iroquois, the Canadian Armed Forces designation for the Bell UH-1H “Huey” utility helicopter.

The CH-118 served primarily in search and rescue, medical evacuation, transport, and general support roles, rather than as an armed combat helicopter. Its familiar single-rotor silhouette and practical utility design made it one of the most recognizable helicopters in Canadian service during the late 20th century.

Designed from aircraft plans, the model combines an accurate exterior profile with a detailed cabin. It features spinning rotors, removable side doors, a detailed interior, and removable, customizable seats and equipment, allowing the cabin layout to be adjusted for different display configurations.

From the Designer

BespokeLegoDesigns developed MOC-249633 from aircraft plans with the goal of combining the recognizable profile of the CH-118 with a detailed and configurable interior. The removable doors, seats, and cabin equipment allow the finished model to reflect the helicopter’s versatile utility role.

Some internal elements that are completely hidden after construction may use varying colors to simplify part sourcing without changing the finished exterior.

Best For

Canadian military aviation enthusiasts, Huey helicopter fans, Cold War aircraft collectors, search-and-rescue aviation enthusiasts, utility helicopter collectors, and builders who enjoy detailed aircraft interiors.

Historical Background

The CH-118 Iroquois was the Canadian Armed Forces version of the Bell UH-1H. Entering Canadian service in the late 1960s, it was used primarily for base rescue, search and rescue, medical evacuation, transportation, and general support operations. The fleet remained in service until the 1990s and became a recognizable part of Canadian military aviation.

Important Note

Some hidden internal elements may vary in color without affecting the exterior appearance of the completed model.
